Section 1: Intro/Overview of Origins

This is technically post 0. I decided to write this because I don't want to get in trouble with lawsuits and copyright. I want to make my intentions, policies and project clear so people don't take it the wrong way and can understand where I'm coming from.

First off, Origins is created by me, Allan Tsai, and none of my posts are sponsored. I currently write all the posts but I am open to other people writing for Origins and sharing their story later on. All posts are all original and the intended purpose includes (but not limited to):

- showing there is hope that the world is changing for the better

- giving people inspiration to write their own story

- showing kindness exists in a world that often seems corrupted by violence/greed/narcissism

- give people a place where they can come to and feel they have a voice and are accepted

Second, I'm always available for contact if you want. Use my email, allanorigins@gmail.com, or the contact me box on the home page. I will try to reply to everything that comes my way within a week. I am a college student so you have to be patient with me.

Section 2: Sources/References, Images/Videos and Fair Use

Fair Use -

To hit some the intended purposes of the Origins blog and project, I will use stories of people. These stories are pulled from my list of inspirational people. If your story is featured and wish to have it removed, please use the contact section, at the front of my website, and it will be removed. 
When contacting me, please put "Remove my Story" as the subject.

I was informed that I should get people's permission to publish their story but, for some people, that is impossible or that chance is limited so I'm going off the fair use laws as stated off of Wordpress. (All credit goes to Wordpress)

When using the works of others (arts/blog posts/FB posts), I will use their policies and licenses as close as possible. 

Source/References -

All sources and references, in the articles, will be linked by an underlined word or will be located at the end of a post, in the read more/ references sections.

If I searched something on google, I will state it but not link it. This applies for the Comic Relief posts.

In the event I share Facebook posts, the author will be credited. If you see your post and want it removed, please use the contact section, at the front of my website, and it will be removed. 

Images -

Now, I will include images but they will mostly be stock images from Pexels.com, due to copyright issues. If I obtain permission to use non-stock images, all images will be credited. 

Videos -

Videos off of Youtube will be credited by the uploader of the video. 

I will only ask for permission with videos developed by 1 individual, usually from individual projects.These videos will be credited and posted, if permission is obtained.
